Would-be Sunnyvale jewelry store robbery thwarted by armed guards

SUNNYVALE Armed guards on Friday chased off would-be robbers who attempted to ram a stolen truck into a Sunnyvale business to heist particular jewelry according to police Robbers intentionally crashed a stolen truck around p m Friday into a jewelry store in the block of E El Camino Real attempting to forcibly enter the shop and make away with valuable jewelry the Sunnyvale Department of General Safety declared in a news release The store s armed guards reportedly confronted and chased off the unknown defendants who then fled in another stolen car according to police It is unclear which jewelry store the robbers attempted to enter Police later determined the stolen getaway bicycle unoccupied somewhere in Sunnyvale Police explained the robbers did not rob the store of anything and that no jewels or cash were taken no shots were fired and no injuries were stated Bureaucrats have not informed any arrests in the happening Anyone with information in the ongoing assessment can contact Detective Rosette at -
