One injured, four displaced in 2-alarm Fremont fire

FREMONT One person was injured and they and three other people were displaced after a two-alarm fire Sunday night damaged two homes authorities revealed The fire erupted about p m Sunday at a home on Lake Oneida Street Executives announced an adult occupant of the home attempted unsuccessfully to extinguish the fire before firefighters arrived It was not straightaway clear if that person got out of the burning home on their own or had to be rescued The person sustained non-life threatening injuries but it was not clear if they had to be hospitalized Officers declared an aggressive interior and exterior fire attack limited the extension of the fire to the corner of an adjacent residence The exact control time was not available No other injuries were released The exact cause of the fire is under analysis A damage figure was not available Fire representatives announced the one resident of the home where the fire started and three residents of the adjacent home including two children were displaced
